Hi, it's my Saturday.

PPGs came over with a slice of cake (still in my fridge), and presents.
& we head out for breakfast at Swensens.

Not the most awesome Egg Benedict.
Feedback on the poached egg. hah;

French Toast is pretty good, but pancakes there ain't better than McDonalds.

Met up with the blogshop owner - Joy;
& collected my shirt, probably be in time for cny afterwash. Unintended though.

Like I mentioned, the power of Murphy's law.
Felt sick when I reach home after breakfast; slept it off.

A lil reluctant to leave home (cause of ill body condition);
But, still survived through the tunnels on the train, and the walk to the library.
All for promise made to attend the ah boy's performance.

Can't stand his eyeliner;
& we had a real hard time trying to spot him on stage; #fail.
But still, great concept and performance! Break a leg, Johna!

Hello. Imma regard it as Thursday, just like Saturday.

Power of Murphy's law is real strong.

Especially such a period; happened, I guess I could say without much exaggeration, every year.

I remember, I used to fall sick on the very day when I was young, like every year.

Even my Mama claimed so.

And as I grow older, school gets in the way of fun. No everyday, but the very day it does.

Or, happy/sad note, there are others attention-grabbing celebrations (i.e. public holidays, esp cny.)

I'm glad (?) that I'm actually feeling really much neutral.

Even despite the fact that the number with a T could be a something.

Not exactly fine, but fine with nothing as well.

Perhaps, it's the results of learning not to keep expectations tree top high.

Life is getting a lil too much at a loss.

I have like no route to take in mind.

Walking a step at a time, or maybe roaming round and round.

Stress.

(Even selecting a Birkenstock can be so stressful for me.)

I don't know what's with my long wordy post lately.

And it normally take me hours to write; staring, writing, clicking away, back again, writing...

I don't know what exactly to write about actually. But I feel like writing.

Greetings to the occasionally ugly world.

I have not been blogging since the end of last year.
Nonetheless, been pretty active on Twitter, micro-blogging which is hard to track back.

Nothing much to talk about.
Let's get the conversation with self starting..

After the handing in of FYP report, seemed like everything is done. But, it's not.
I'm trying to gain my motivation and momentum back for school-related work.
That's my responsibility as a student for you.

Clique been pretty into Running Man.
Classmates even played the no. of persons game (?) during break between tutorial. Work-out for our legs, fun bonding much.
And, Saint Agnes & The Burning Train can be played as my bgm for too many moments. At times, I didn't even tried to be Gwang Soo's character. Fine with it, at least it's entertaining.

These days, I haven't been willing to be really get involved with anything.
Yet to figure out the reasoning for self, but probably I'm tired of any sort of drama. Or, selfishly, I want to pay attention for myself more.
And, is there really a need to make effort to gain attention from others? Kind of let it go.

Honestly, was excited (yes, was). Cause, it's awesomely falls on a weekend.
And class ends at late evening, which will be awesome for dinner.
And reunion dinner follows after the actual, even more awesome cause steamboat at ahmama's is a big thumb-up.
But never mind, I'm letting it go. This seemed to happen too often when the date is near, and I kind of dislike celebrations or surprises at current. It's becoming awkward for me to be the host/lead for a bare few hours.
Disclaimer, I feel neutral for all these seemed to be negative emotions. Like what I could coolly say, it's just a day.

I once told; I may regret all these when I grow real old. But, I think I can manage with acceptance towards these regrets. I don't want to have forced memories.
I want some peace, and kindness, and genuine companies.
Who will really think of spending time with you or inviting you to care for your attention?
I could be the common denominator for all I know, the awkward Aquarius. Too much weird aura.

This thing about ending the year;

It makes people think back of what they did, what they didn't, how much they loved, how much they hated, how much they grew and change, and how much they learnt.

Honestly, I haven't been all honest. & I accepted that, I can never be all honest all the time.

Family.

For every year, I will like to sincerely apologise for being the rude kid.

I'm sorry for not being able to hold all my frustration in, and vent them out on my innocent and caring parents.

I might never learn to be a better child. But, I love them with all my heart.

Grateful to have them to be forever understanding, and forgiving to my unreasonable times.

Especially jeyjey; thanks for all your support, help, silly expressions, and all and all. Saranghae!

Relationship.

I was all open when the year begins.

In the mid, thinking back, I grossed myself out now. Don't want to talk about it. Seriously, outta my life.

And currently, I'm wondering if I will ever going to be attached to another person. Or I rather be #foreveralone?

Ain't going to settle for less. If only someone awesome like him gets involved in my life. #fangirl.

For now, perhaps, it's better to let it be. Embracing, the fact: Que Sera Sera.

This could be the greatest achievements, or I maybe not.

My dearest Powerpuff girls; I'm grateful that we grew so much together.

We had matured over conflicts and confessions. It is yet another awesome year with you all in it; though we are less involved with each other compared to the past years. However, I hope we will never forget to think of each other at different times, and keep in contact and planning simple dine out or outing for more years to come. Love y'all to bits.

My cutest (currently named) Gingerbread Dollies, we changed our whatsapp group name so often.

Y'all brought so much laughter throughout the days in school. Honestly, you all made things in school so much easier to deal with.

I had to apologise for not being more involved with you all enough in the beginning Poly years. And I kind of regret it. Glad that you all did not stop asking me to join you for meals after school, and those lil celebrations we have after examinations. We had indeed become closer, and that makes me sad when remembering that we are all at our third year now. Love you all very much!

My Buds; I think we were really silly.

We can quarrel over online messages with no conclusion, and be fine the next time we meet up.

I love meeting up with you. And, appreciate lil things we do for each other. Like having Johna rushing on and off to support for our Sinema Showoff! screening.

Best thing about us, is perhaps, we remind each other of our past self and what we liked. Don't forget to love your old self, while enjoying to explore the new you.

X, you had grown so much, not physically of course.

I had to praise, you had grown so much stronger mentally.

However, I had to admit, it's a lil disappointing that you're less sentimental now. Being practical, is that what the reality had changed you to be?

You're fighting less now. Are you giving up on the humanity or accepting the reality as it is?

Please don't forget what you're build of or for. May you get better, and happier with yourself in the next year.

I don't think there's such a thing to rank your best and worst years, even though there may be years that you would want to experience again.

But, there could be so many more years to come. & next year, could be so much better.

Short, and brief update on my weeks so far.

Occupied with working at the bookstore, and FYP report to push.

Surprisingly, energy been getting better after a few days of getting use to the morning hour.
Or maybe, it's just the effective and sufficient number of hours of sleep.
Been sleeping as early as 0930, and waking up as early as 0430.
Pretty mad timing, and working for low pay. But seems satisfying.

As for FYP report, the only time to do it is after I reach home from work.
Which will be around 6? Nah, low drive when it comes to FYP.
Brain engine seems to run slower, and the need to rephrase paragraphs, ensuring they don't seem to repeat again and again, can be killing.
Doing double work? I don't want to get to there.
Frustrating enough, less than half is done.

Nonetheless, I'm still going to enjoy some meet-and-hang time with friends.
In fact, went over to long forbidden Glen's before work starts; and had awesome chat with his mama and sister instead. His family is awesome to us, pretties.
Tomorrow gonna hang with Buds. Can't wait to try out Ambush.
&& 26th at Rosanne's for Christmas celebration + our major failed Secret Santa.

You are the apple of my eye.

A lil typical, but original teen years story.

I can't put it to words, cause everything will be uglified.

I'm just going to say, it's not an overrated movie.

The plot is double double thumbs-up.

Perhaps, just for me, knowing that it's a real story of the director, a big plus point for me.

And the choice of casts for each character?

I can't think of anyone more suitable.

Beautiful and charming and funny and ridiculous.

But, perhaps, the director hold grudges against the husband. He could had pick a better choice for the lady. hah!

Fyeah! MST is so over.

Mugging process was like a bell-curve.

When you started to get the momentum, you lose it near the end.

Happiness ttm when I hand in the last MST paper;

I was boosting my brain power, and lacking of sleep for over 4 days.

In fact, I think I barely slept for 3 hours (max) on Friday.

Hardworking award? Tyvm.

Anyways, well rewarded and gave self a pat on the back after those mugs.

Ok, not really well rewarding myself after thinking of the service and food at PizzaHut; disappointment.

But great laughs with the clique as usual.

& we enjoyed the movie -- Already Famous.

I had been pretty down in a pit hole.

The pressure is slowly getting to me.

Project works that seems to be never ending, and the test papers that will come flying here soon in early December.

Honestly, finance is pushing it as well.

I wanted to enjoy as much of life, like spend on things that I enjoy or things that I like that will last.

If it's not for the school fees that depreciated half of my savings, I won't be upset with what I'm having for lunch now.

I do know money is not everything, but the fact is fact.

Then come the question about getting a job. Whenever I feel like trying to find a job, I seem to lack time and energy. Excuses, yes and no.

Last night was pretty horrible.

Words are scary.

I don't know how to explain. But, it felt like I had to beg to stop another thing from going wrong in life. Beg to stop another problem from arising.

Pathetic much. Amusing much.

Being pathetic, yeah, pretty amusing.

Wiping people's arses again and again.

Being nice is fine, but when I *try* to be nice. It might olready be a problem.

But, how can I be mean anyways? No way, so suck it up.

Eventually, everything will be through.

Today has been down, down, and down.

Kinda need a space for me to rant and vent.

Face it, no one reads this space, except for X.

Hence, shall let this be an outlet.

It feel like I'm wasting time in school. Seriously, hours of lectures and tutorials. I can read them from home, or do them from home. In fact, we all did beforehand anyways. & the notes for lecture? Never mind, let's not go there. Physically in class, but my mind seem to wander. Where's all the concentration go? Drifted off for a minute, and I was lost in class. Which page are you on? The notes and PowerPoint slides, doesn't tally. Failed at keeping track, or catching up in class. X, you failed that. And tutorial made my blood boiled. Apologise for my tone, or for raising my volume just because you didn't hear me the first few times. My fault. But seriously, how fake can one person be, just not want to offend the other? Or phrasing it more bluntly, pretending to be nice after being mean to prevent others from disliking you? That disgust me. And honestly, I wanted to debate, fight back, and explain. It's not me to just sit there, and feel that I'm being misunderstood or treated unfairly. Arghs. But, seriously, I knew where I will be heading if I really took the battle. I fought back few times back. From what I see, that reptile is not the one that worth me taking the chance, or should I say risk? Felt real bad just now. Stuck in class, and have to sit right in front her. I can't explain this. People might think that I'm taking things too seriously, and.. arghs. Never mind and whatever. I can't put them to words. I should really shut up in her class now.

What is wrong with this semester?

I'm dreading school, very very much.

Hello there!

What did you have for dinner?

We had dinner at Hatched.

We were filled with egg-citement for the eggs.

Cutest menu, ever.

Slightly dimmed lighting at the restaurant, and pretty much a quiet environment on a Thursday night.

I had Smoked Royale.

Wasn't really impressed with the size of serving, until I really attempted to finish it up.

English muffin, Smoked salmon, and top it off with Two runny poached egg.

Salad and mush-mash chunky potato as sides.

Hit the spot, and happy filled tummy. Extreme filling, in fact.

Yegg for eggs!

Yet another fun-filled trip with the clique. (:

(I shall continue to watch my boring episode on the tv, without any hope of having my dearest back as regular in the future. *sigh. On the bright note, I still have the gags to send me laughters.)

New organiser; like finally and forever.

Took me quite long to finalise it, and took me forever to finish it.

Still, ain't perfect on the inside;

Made mistakes of the dates and stuff.

Will further improve it as time goes by, till the next weekends arrive. Perhaps a free weekend.

I like the organiser to be more personal; cause it can make me feel happier, and belonging, and perhaps in control and balance.

(I'm speaking crazy again.)

Sadly, my headset passed on.

No self-inducing into music on public transport for now.

My playlist cheers me up, and in some ways keep me sane (or drive me crazy, but no harm).

This is awesome hot&spicy shaker fries for visual-supper.

After I fell in love with wasabi beans, I'm hoping that the wasabi shaker fries will be back for me to give it a try.

Anyhow, I need a lot more self-discipline.

Be it for my fats' weight, or school assignment, or entertainment, or shopping urge.

I need to get my time/mind back on track, or rather a higher motivation to encourage my dear discipline.

Easy said than done. I'm good at convincing myself out of discouraging situations, which results in poor discipline.

I often have a body-mind fight. wtflamingo.

In hope that I can boost myself, and do a lil bit more for assignments tonight.

Then, I can be a lil more guilt-free to have my Monday public holiday spent on decorating my new organiser.

October, I can't remember much about you.

Started with ending of work for Asian Film Symposium;

Caught the last day of Smurfs;

Managed and done with shnit on 8th;

Befrienders outing to Chinatown Heritage Centre;

Naked models at Fashion Show @ MBS;

Wangls' Housewarming + Wentao's 3rd Birthday + HCL gathering;

Back to school on 17th, physically but not too sure about mental;

Home is left with me & sissy, PaMa went to China for 5 days;

Long walk up the Caldecott for Subaru's briefing;

Helped PaMa with the luggages and loot on 27th, 28th to be actual;

Subaru for morning and midnight slot on 29th;

Spooktacular @ Anchorvale CC in between;

Didn't sleep for more than 24 hours is a killer for my brain;

Slept almost 3/4 of my Sunday;

Head down to Monday's class alone, and alone, and head home alone.

Things that I discovered on the way;

frighten me, excite me, stun me.

That may be why, I treasure and love those who really love me back more.

Reality, may not be supportive;

Life, we need to support one another.

Took the 1 hour plus seat on train to Changi Airport.

Arrived 3 hours plus before the arrival time. Plane delayed, Murphy's law applied.

Dine, and chilled at Sbucks; and almost fell asleep on the cafe's couch.

After 6 days, we got to see our dearest PaMa on this Sunny island. Love much!

Helped with the luggages and loots, and cabbed home sweet home!

Our first Outing Befrienders session, on the 12th.
Despite the uncooperative dark clouds and raindrops; we can declare that it was a new and great experience for all of us.

Sheltering the wheelchair-bound elderly;
while all the Reds are drenched upon reaching the Chinatown Heritage Centre.

As usual, my lil grey shoes turned into a darken grey.
(That tells the time to hunt for a better pair.)

Trying my hardest to communicate in my super-broken Hokkien;
And learning from the elderly the names of fruits in Hokkien. Great lesson. hah!

She's really soft-spoken.
But after a few questions around the centre, we were having better conversations with my limited Hokkien vocabulary.

Glad that she was waving byes continuously to us, while she was on board the lil ambulance transport. High-fived on the glass.

It felt good when people on the streets glanced at us while we were pushing through the rain. Some even asked if we are doing voluntary work, and gave praises.
Raising awareness. (Red tees, PR lessons. A thumb-up.)

We were all drenched and cold from the bad weather.

But, definitely all warm inside.

Finally, on the last day of the screening;
I caught -- The Smurfs, with my sister.

Neil Patrick Harris, charming as always.
Jayma Mays, such a lovable with her huge eyes.
Smurfs were adorable, and humourous.

But, as it was the last screening day, the crowd was small;
We kind of ended up hearing our own laughters, and chat throughout the 102 minutes.
It's either we get all the funny parts wrong, or others lack of humour. *tsktsk.

Good laugh for the Wednesday night.

I feel like Gregory House (at times).

Season 6, Cuddy raged out at House. She mentioned that everyone is moving on with their lives. She's moving on, Wilson's moving on, Cameron's moving on, basically everyone.
Except for House.

I'm moving on. But, others seem to be far ahead of me, taking leaps & flew.
New closer relationships, new relationships, new stage of education, new environment.. etc.
& yet, I'm still yet to lay out my plan for my future. Or take leaps of faith, leaps for change.

I'm not exactly afraid of commiting changes. I'm afraid that what I care for, people who I love & love me will change because of that.

Adapting school life well, not really so.

Caught a whole lot of movie in A's month;

Hi, this is what I have to deal with every morning after the 40 mins train ride.
3 escalators heading up, yet there's always queues to get up the escalators.

This is the building you will see after you turn to your right at Exit A.

Reception area on the 7th floor.

My desk since Wednesday.

Things in the pencil holder, ain't mine.

I'm under the ANZ Moneyline term loan department; they call themselves Archers.

2 other interns, Terence & Shu Wang from School of Engineering are in the same dept with me.

Burger King for dinner, treat from Eddie (trainer) for the whole department.

Oh, and that's the phone that I had been using since Wednesday.

Nasi Lemak for Thursday's lunch;

But we went to the wrong place that June (colleague) recommended.

We headed down to the right place with Manfred & Marcus (colleagues) for the nasi lemak on Friday;

But, June claimed that we bought from the wrong stall. hah!

A little yellow post-it is what I normally gets when Arvind (colleague) gets a chinese-speaking person on the other line. So far, I think I got at least 6 pieces from him. hah;

Oh, and he boy-cotts fastfood; cute?

This is the first week at work.

Telesales is not what I expect, or direct-relate to my course.

To be thankful for, the staff in my department are fun-loving people.
I get to sit (but talk) the whole day.

I guess, I coughed away all my positivity;

1.5 hours of 127 Hours on 2nd March.

I liked the movie;

But, I will say that, it all depends on the individual.

If you understood, you will understand. If you liked it, you will like it.

James Franco is definitely an amazing actor.

Pretty much counted as a one-man movie (cause it's based one a documentary).

Danny Boyle is no doubt a talented director.

He is able to tell another man's (Aron Ralston's) encounter into a movie; in a very unique way.

The movie is pretty much exciting, tense, and touching.

Even though you olready know the full story, you will still want to keep on watching it.

Oscar nominations, hands-down.

Second book from Nicholas Sparks; (likes this more than the first.)

He's simple with words, but great descriptions.

You can play the scene in your mind while reading the words, with a little more guessing.

Kind of amaze how things intertwined with each other in every chapters.

I watched the movie February, last year.

Not impressed with the movie; but the after the book, scenes played and staged in the movie began to make sense.

Then again, the movie did not do the book justice.

The book kept me flipping even though I olready know the story.

The book was.. bittersweet. Can't find a better word.

The romance, the war, the desperation, the pain, the forgiveness, the miracle, the regret, the doubts, the faithfulness, & the reality.

Can't say that it is the best read, but a good book.

Something that you will want to flip back to re-read a paragraph/chapter after finishing it.

I worked on the last day of 2010 till the first hour of 2011. (:

It had been pretty awesome working at MBS.
Glad to have Z with me.

Tried all kind of jobs offered;
Directing the queue/crowd, registering the Casino members for tickets to The Pointer Sisters, giving out freebies, tearing of tickets, security check, packing&clearing. (:

The freebies (clappers & blowers), which a lot of people took 4357453 of them for their grandchildren. LOL!

The concert hall is pretty amazing.

The staff are nice to let us in to watch the concert;
And, offered us cocktail (orange syrup + rose martini).

Oh, & they even tell us to join in the crowd for the fireworks viewing! :D

It had been awesome. (:

Now, I have to get back to my drawing work to be finish by tomorrow. Had been working hard, huh?
